(born May 13, 1965) graduated from the Electronic Data Processing Department of Japan Electronics College. He joined Nintendo in 1986, realizing his dream after a long adoration of playing Famicom games. Konno began working as a graphic designer on a variety of Nintendo games including the ''Super Mario Bros.'' series with Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. Konno is the development head of Nintendo EAD Software Development Group No. 1.
